another losing night, but just barely. i think that was my fourth losing night in a row, but they have all been for hardly anything. that tells me i am due for a really bad night, or a really great night. only four more nights of gambling and i am off to jamaica for a week. i had hoped to put a really big dent in my units before leaving, but it just has not happened. i have tried my "goofy plays where I go the opposite of my normal thoughts and that worked for a while as i cut my units from over 40, down to 30 before it started failing. now that i went back to my regular plays i have lost 4 nights in a row, but only totals 3-4 units, so i am not sure how to think anymore. maybe a combination of those two.
mets -124 vs phillies (3 units)...........i think many people out there are figuring that the philllies have to win this game and make up some ground in the nl east. they have madson pitching, and the phils have won his last six starts, and now you can get them as a dog. even though glavine has been great, he is only 1-7 vs the phils since joining the mets. phils as a dog just looks too good tonight. as much as i hate taking the hated mets over my phillies, i think i have to tonight.
atlanta -132 vs florida (3 units)..................i have read some posts talking about how well, or at least better than expected the marlins have played so far this year. i guess this guy pitching is doing pretty well. atlanta continues to struggle as they are battling washington now for 3rd place. this game is at florida as well. my question is why are the braves favored in this one? the linesmakers are pretty good at what they do. i think the line tells you the braves are going to win. i will try it.
both of my three unit plays scare me to death tonight. i think that is a good thing. sometimes the best plays are the hardest ones to take.
washington -142 vs colorado (2 units)...............despite the loss last night, the nats still one of the hotter teams in baseball the past month. throw that in, plus add they are at home and i think we have a pretty solid play.
boston +115 vs minnesota (2 units).............taking schilling as a dog, it is as simple as that.
these next two are both for one unit....i am probably stupid for doing this, but they are almost sure things. there is now way both go down and even if one does i only lose less than two units. more than likely they both win. so in my eyes I am risking no more than 1.73 units to win 2.00 units. i guess what i am saying is both of them losing is just about impossibe.

detroit -232 vs tampa bay
