I was out last night, and got to drinkin',
I started to drive - don't know what I was thinkin' . . "
My eyes were red, they started to burn
Saw the cops and made a U-turn.
I blew over the limit, what will they say?
I just don't know what I will tell coach K.
My rep could be ruined but I'm such a good kid
I hope they still draft me has my draft staus slid?
So I'm off to the NBA after a trip home to Roanoke,
then just like college, i'll continue to choke.

This time next year, they'll all know I'm a phony,
I'll go back to Durham to get a hug from Melchioni.

He'll turn me away and tell me to talk to Coach K,
Mike will raise my spirits by saying there's always the CBA.

After a failed pro career, an assistant coaching job i'll get,
K will hurt his back, and i'll be canned like Pete Gaudet.

Homeless, lost, and heartbroken, i'll turn to the bottle to ease the
burn, then ask myself why oh why did I ever make that U-turn.

I'm 90 years old now, my story's full or horror, can you believe this
happened to the ACC's all time leading scorer.

Now i'm dead and gone, with only one pal, the guy who's giving my
eulogy, Mr. Dick Vitale

I've never seen such a hated athlete in years...JJ gets more people hating on him than TO...not a fan of his game, but dont get why he gets so much flack?
