If ball game starts at 1:05. what time does batting practice start?

going to Tiger game tomorrow, would like to see BP. What is the standard for this?

With Z Miner and C Fossum "pitching" it sounds like the entire game will be batting practice

A lot of teams don't take BP before games if they play an afternoon game.

Not sure what the Tigers schedule is like, but yeah, GL.

At Detroit, they probably open the gates at 11:00, 11:30 at the latest. Usually the Tigers will just be finishing up when the gates are opening. TB will then conduct BP until about 25 minutes before the game.

GATES OPEN
The gates to Comerica Park open 1-1/2 hours prior to the scheduled game time unless otherwise advertised. Guests are invited to arrive early and watch batting and infield practice, enjoy rides on the Ferris Wheel and Carousel, historical displays, the food offerings in the Big Cat Court and Brushfire Grill, as well as the pre-game ceremonies. The Tiger Club, Tiger Den Lounge, Beer Hall and Suite Levels open two hours prior to the scheduled game time.

Sunny and 80 degrees. Almost no wind. Got alot of sun.Should have never asked because I knew the GF would be running behind and batting practice never happened.

Overall a day at the park when your team is playing meaningful games is something I am not used too. Hopefully alot more memories this summer
