4-2 (+5.16 units) yesterday
129-143 (-32.07 units) overall

well, i hate to admit it, but i really suck. that is why my goofy plays continue to win. it is going against how i like to handicap baseball. i just cannot pick a winner this year unless i do what i did last night and go against myself. it could have been a really big night if the braves did not blow the lead against the marlins, but i am not complaining. picking up five units is much better than i have done all week. lets see if i can get lucky again.

a ton of afternoon games today......i can get happy/depressed early today.

phillies -110 vs ny mets (3 units).............the mets are loving citizens bank ballpark and the phillies pitching staff. cory lidle is an average pitcher at best. there is no reason to think why the mets will not score runs in bunches again today. and the icing on the cake is you can get the mets as a dog. how could you not take that. the mets will roll today. now when you throw in the factor of i can't pick a winner, then that make the phllies a play today for three units.

dodgers +124 vs san diego (3 units)...........this kid young, pitching for the padres has been almost unhittable his last few starts and we can get him as a small favorite at home. there is no reason to go against this guy until he starts losing, this is easy money. then again, i don't know what easy money is....i better take the dodgers.

minnesota +123 vs boston (2 units)................tim wakefield is 11-2 vs minnesota lifetime. silva sucks really bad, he has been horrible. minnesota won last night, so the odds are not good for the twins to beat boston again with wakefield pitching. boston looks pretty solid to me. yeah, you know the rest. i am taking the twins.

colorado +123 vs washington (2 units).................this is one of those games with my old way of thinking that i just keep taking the nationals thinking they are due and have to win this one. colorado not very good on the road, until this year anyway, and there is no way they are going to sweep, so i would throw a few extra units on this one to make up for the first two losses in the series where i would have had washington. like i said, normally, washington would be a big play for me, but that is also how i was down over 40 units. i must be nutz to take colorado, but i will.

kansas city +247 vs angels
tampa bay +166 vs detroit

both for one unit only.

i had both big dogs yesterday and got lucky with both winning. after last night, the odds of these horrible teams winning again are next to nothing. ordinarily i would load up on these two favs today thinking no way they go down and more than likely i would lose one of them and also lose the heavy juice. i must be crazy, but i am taking both dogs again.

there you go, six more "goofy picks" there has to be people out there who are laughing at me right now, but i don't care. when you reach a point where you just constantly pick losers, anything is worth a try.

i remember the days when i used to make money in baseball. i don't know where i went wrong. there is still alot of season left and all it takes is a couple weeks of these goofy picks winning to get close to back to even.

i am leaving for vacation (Jamaica) late Friday afternoon, so today and tomorrow will be my last days of gambling until the following monday. i am sure the break will do me some good.

i hate interleague play, even when i was picking winners, i would always lose when it came to interleague. maybe it is a good thing i am going away now then. interleague is fun to watch as a fan, but a nightmare to bet on, at least in my opinion.

good luck everybody!!
