Okay guys, if anyone is wondering why there's a "Part II" thread, here's the reasoning behind all my madness :

#1 - On June 14, 2006, all free-play and referral bonus, which I was making 100% of my bets on in MLB, is completely dried up.

#2 - Now, given that it was "free" money for my first 2 weeks of picks, I was betting on the "trial-by-fire" method of things, which relied on 50% system / 50% gut. Yes, I know, I shouldn't have played crazy with "free" money, but that's the rookie / action player that I am / was.

#3 - Since I freshly deposited 100% my own money for the first time this MLB season, I am taking a few different steps towards my method of madness. On a money management aspect of things, I am refusing to lean towards the "action" part of myself, which is playing WAY TOO MANY games per day. On a betting aspect, since I don't have a bonified system yet (changing formulas in Excel every day until I find something), my picks will be based on : 70% system, 20% Rx'ers, and 10% 'fading' my gut. I am also going to try to make my "type" of picks follow a consistent percentage. Based on my first 2 rookie weeks, I'm going to "try" to stay at 50% Moneyline Plays, 20% Team Totals, 15% Over/Unders, 10% Parlay, and 5% Spreads. With my Excel formulas changing everyday added to my vague knowledge of betting MLB, this is still "trial by fire", but at least it's more contained. I understand it will take years to try to nail down any kind of formula / system.

#4 - I would like to keep a fresh record, based on my "new", yet completely unrefined system; however, below I will post my "Part I" system record just once at the beginning, so, if needed at the end of the year, I can still combine the two for my cumulative Year-To-Date. Here's My "Part I" record, with complete breakdown :

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year To Date : 18-41-2 (-31.745 Units)

Straight : 11-12 (-2.595 Units)
Over / Under : 4-18-1 (-20.20 Units)
Parlay : 0-6 (-5.5 Units)
Team Total : 3-5-1 (-3.45 Units)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Versus Money Line : 11-5 (+7.405 Units)
Versus Spread : 0-7 (-10.00 Units)

.5 Unit Plays : 2-4 (-.975 Units)
1 Unit Plays : 12-27-1 (-17.07 Units)
2 Unit Plays : 4-10-1 (-13.70 Units)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Today's card will be posted in a bit ... Remember, I'm keeping a new record to go with my revised system. There will probably be several revised systems with new records throughout the next few years, but this is a good place for me to keep track of things. Also, keep in my, my unit is only $25 for right now, but I will post by "units" for posting purposes.

Good luck to all today and in the future. My card will be posted after going through all the research shortly.
