SSI's MLB Play for friday: hopefully the run has begun

107-159 (-23.39 units) (-$2339)

coming off a nice 2-0 day on thursday (+$750)... looking to keep the momentum going friday... as of now, my entire losses this season (-$2339) have been from some form of junky system play and say very little of my ability as a handicapper.. that may sound as if im sugar coating things, truth is, ive dropped (-$2339) this MLB season, nothing more needs to be said.. but i can tell you this, ill be on top before the season ends, playing no plays bigger than a nickel..

to me, id rather bet my best game for a nickel, than bet 5 games that i like for a dollar each.. i have no problems pushing my chips in..

play for friday:

Mets (-1.70).. listed pitchers... $425 to win $250

Looking to once again ride a redhot team, playing at home.. Not thrilled with laying the big chalk but since its my only play for friday, ill go with it. I also call upon a little pullback theroy here, not wanting to give away my winnings from thursday, and id be very happy to win $250..

Baltimore stinks it up on the road, losers of 3 straight at toronto.. Nobody hotter than the mets.. Soler has been solid, as have most of the Mets. Scoring runs in the first inning has been there calling card for the last week or so, lets hope they can get to Bedard "early and often"..

there is a slight chance that ill add a late play, as id love to ride the Oakland boys again, if i decide to do so, ill post in this thread before game time on friday.

oakland 9-7 alltime against dodgers in interleague play, zito 7-6 alltime in interleague play...

oakland is a team, that every year, goes on a fantastic run, usually after the allstar break, this year it could be early. dont want to miss it...

as for now, my only play is the mets...

Journeyman, its a long season.. I know exactly where my mistakes are, its with those darn systems, in which i played countless games for anywhere from $100-$400 each...

however, i have absolutely no doubt that ill make money before this season is over... all i have to do, is simply be very selective, keep the money wagered in my betting range and stay focused.. we have plenty of season left..

thx man, i screwed myself good this year, putting myself down 3 dimes, by goofing around with systems.. ive actually capped about one week this MLB season, guess i needed a wake up call and to learn another lesson...

In this business, learning by trial and error can cost you..

I once had a goose that laid a golden egg (right aflguru) and then i went and tried to kill the goose... luckily it was on life support and now is coming out of the coma..

really expect good things today, just moved to 9-0-2 (+$905) in world cup soccer..

got a couple of dogs going in the CWS today..

things could be really getting back on track..
