I'm not too sure Gyno.

If you have grade school kids, they probably know and like JB. He came on the scene, and did quite well, with School of Rock. And this movie comes out at about the time kids are out of school for summer break.

And this movie is not just aimed at kids, but at Latinos. And we all know there's quite a big community in the US of A nowaday.
I think OVER is the better bet.:toast:

Nacho Libre could easily exceed 26 mill just based on teenie boopers wanting a few laughs. Its a pass for me.

IMO the lock is "The Lake House" under 16 mill. Sounds depressing, boring, and stars two very washed up actors, Bullock and Reeves. No thanks. WTF is going to play $10 to see this one at the box. This should be straight to video fodder.

It does look like a dorky, juvenile movie, but they've put a ton into TV ads and that will definitely pump up the box office receipts.

This movie looks at least somewhat humorous. And you underestimate the amount of 15-year-old jackoffs out there with nothing to do on a Friday night.

As for who wants to see a Jack Black movie...you've obviously never seen School of Rock. Easily one of my favorite movies...shit is classic. Anyone who even remotely likes classic rock would love this movie. Even people who don't still liked that shit, just a funny movie.

I personally have laughed everytime I see the commerical.

But with the line at 26 million it's too close to tell.

But every movie they've put up a line for this summer has gone OVER except for Cars and that line was so inflated.

So I'd lean over.
