just curious. i'm guessing that the books
expect one of these teams to explode &
one to implode? you tell me, thanks!

Whenever Glendon Rusch pitches, he seems to implode, so maybe that is the logic. Still seems a bit too high though.

Neither team is hitting lefties very hard (Cubs aren't hitting anybody hard) but this one scares the hell out of me.

Very odd line I don't think I've seen one this high ever. I could be mistaken but I think the highest they'd go even in Coors was 12 when 2 bad pitchers were starting. Barrett is out for the Cubs today here are the lineups:

I remember a lot of Rockies totals at 14, and I think I recall a 14.5 as well. Not sure that I remember a 15.

Clip is right.

There was a Cubs game earlier this year where the line was 12.5. Cubs at home vs Cincy.

Incidentaly Rusch was pitching. The game went under. Cubbies lost 2-9.

just a tidbit of info...
Games with a total of 11 or more this year are 10o-26u-1p.
total of 11: 9o-16u-1p
total of 11.5: no overs. 8 unders
total of 12: 1o-1u
total of 12.5: no overs. 1 under.

You don't want to be sitting on an under at wrigley with the win blowing out. I had Maddux and Oliver Perez(when he was good) under 12 last year and it went over by the 4th inning or so.

I would really pound the over but Barrett is out. Still like the over a lot, with the Tigers.

Don't forget the Cubs-Braves game about 3 weeks ago. The total was 10 I think and it went over 7 outs into the game because of the weather. Tigers bullpen was been a gascan lately too.

Most all of those were Rockies games, so those don't really count here. Watching the wind, I am making Detroit my biggest bet of the year. :103631605

good point. i went back and checked.

total of 11: 9o-16u-1p --3 overs and 6 of the unders were COL
total of 11.5: no overs. 8 unders --6 of the unders were COL home games
total of 12: 1o-1u -- the one OVER was COL
total of 12.5: no overs. 1 under.

so if you take Colorado out of the mix...

total of 11: 6o-10u-1p
total of 11.5: 2 unders
total of 12: 1 under
total of 12.5: 1 under
