Why Is Det/chi Total 12.5?

just curious. i'm guessing that the books
expect one of these teams to explode &
one to implode? you tell me, thanks!

Whenever Glendon Rusch pitches, he seems to implode, so maybe that is the logic. Still seems a bit too high though.

Wrigley field totals are dictated by which way the wind is blowing.

Very odd line I don't think I've seen one this high ever. I could be mistaken but I think the highest they'd go even in Coors was 12 when 2 bad pitchers were starting. Barrett is out for the Cubs today here are the lineups:

I remember a lot of Rockies totals at 14, and I think I recall a 14.5 as well. Not sure that I remember a 15.

There was a Cubs game earlier this year where the line was 12.5. Cubs at home vs Cincy.

Incidentaly Rusch was pitching. The game went under. Cubbies lost 2-9.

You don't want to be sitting on an under at wrigley with the win blowing out. I had Maddux and Oliver Perez(when he was good) under 12 last year and it went over by the 4th inning or so.

Most all of those were Rockies games, so those don't really count here. Watching the wind, I am making Detroit my biggest bet of the year.

total of 12.5: no overs. 1 under.

so if you take Colorado out of the mix...

this is why i said take the under!!
