Boston/ATL In~Game and My Best Bet

Atlanta is sending out a relief pitcher (Lance Cormier) who is use to throwing 1-2 innings tops, he also struggles with his control, and the Sox are one of the very best teams at making the pitcher throw strikes or taking the walk...

I expect lots of base runners for Boston , and expect Boston to get into that poor ATL bullpen fairly early, combine that with the hot weather and we should see some runs today, Boston should have no trouble getting to a minimum of 6 runs here.

Well we had 4 base runners in the first and got just one run, but Cormier true to form walked two! They should get to him.

if the 'second chance' line is -1100 or less for the red sox to win this i will try to push my losing atl ticket because there is NO WAY they come back and win this...hopefully they get a run or 2 in the 4th so the price drops.

Neither team has had the big inning yet and we could have seen 3 of them so far..that was ATL's shot.

they only have 3 more innings to get the lead because if they get to 9th down by 3 or less Papelbon will show them how you're supposed to hold a lead late in the game.

This isn't your "typical" Bobby Cox team like yrs past...swept at home by the Nats, destroyed in Houston, shut down by the AAA Marlins, and so far getting handled by the Sox. And this is just the past week and a half.You can play in all out, but this ending won't be like the previous ones.
