My stay here at theRx may be short, I hate giving out losers and my posted record here is 5-7 so at this point i am ready to hang it up til football season. Baseball should not be this way, its been a rough run but lets try these picks:
1) Giants/Mariners
I love the Giants today and hopefully some of you got this one early because the ML has been shooting up for the Giants. I got it last night at -145 and its around -170 at most books now. Schmidt is 5-1 as a fav. of -125 to -175, he is 6-0 last 9 starts with a 1.46 era, Meche is 2-0 with a 2.25 era in his last 2 starts but got scratched from the lineup last night and was seen with an ice pack on his shoulder. Todays outing should be short for him and then the Mariners bullpen will come to play which definetely favors the Giants as the bullpen at home has a 5.53 era with 58 walks and 15 hr's in 97 innings. Pick Giants ML
2) Dodgers/A's
A's 12-2 in June, Dodgers 0-10 straight up away in interleague games. Pick the hot team here A's +117
3) Tigers/Cubs
Detroit is 10-0 as a road fav of -125 or higher. Pick Tigers ML
