I thought I missed it, but I was wrong!!!!

Just when I was about to start betting baseball agian. I make my first test bet today on the Yankees -1.5 in over 2 weeks.

Yankees go up huge 9-2 to the lowly NATS.

All of a sudden as I was just about ready to update the spreedsheets and crunch the numbers again to get back into the game the Nats come all the way back from 9-2.

DONT MISS IT ANYMORE.

Thank goodness no.

Just a small play to test the waters.

This season has gotten into my head.

I am really starting to believe that if I took the NATS the Yanks would have won. I know this is not true, but it makes you wonder.

I have had more of these beats this season than the last 4 years combined.

I had 8 days this season where I lost 10 units or more.

Last season I only had 1 DD lose day the entire season.

NOT WORTH THE EFFORT.

There has been a clear change in baseball, and until I figure it out im not going to bet good money on this game.

It may take me the rest of the season to figure this out.

My only hope is that once I do figure out a new stratagy the game does not change again making all my hard work outdated and useless.

I beat the closing number this season at a record clip.

My line has been better than the closing number over 80% of the time this season.

This is the one aspect of my game that improved this season.

So I beat the number at a record rate, but have my worst season ever at the same time.

What does that tell you?

No thougts.

Line movement does not mean sharp movement.

You have to really do your homework to figure out where the smart money is being bet.

Its much easier to find what the squares are betting on than the sharps.

The only problem with that is the fact that sometimes both the sharps and the squares are all on the same side.

The squares are not wrong 100% of the time.

So the only way you can make line movement work for you on a pure capping level is to find out who the smart people are on, and you cant do that by just watching linemovement unless you are in the know.
A great example is Phil Steele. As soon as he post a bet the lines go crazy!!!

Hes the squarest square on the planet. He has an impresive manual that he comes out with with tons of stats and info. I guess this impresses people into thinking that he knows what the hell he is doing.

Why would someone pay PS $500 bucks to his football picks when all you have to do is go to the DB screen and watch which games jump like crazy on a SAT morning at 1230.
