You have two men on 2nd and two men on 3rd and ONE out. How many of these four will score? Oh yeah...in this scenario you get something like 3.5 more outs statistically to end the inning.

How about NONE if you have the OVER in the O's/Mets game.

Three situations put a total of two men on third and two men on 2nd with 1 out and NONE score. I hope this doesn't continue. tulsa

and the Cards give up a 3 spot with 2 outs!

of course....this game has few hits and many runs, because I had under, the Sox game today had runners galore and nobody could get a hit even with one out ...

After the first inning, when 3 runs were scored, I was kind of chalking up the over as a win. I knew that was stupid, but I couldn't help it.

Don't you hate when that happens?

If you had the over in the Mets game, you really need to read Pops running post.

I try, but I can't make much sense out of it.

I do read pops69's posts and the thread. I don't always follow the plays... Sometimes that is a good thing. Sometimes not. This time was a NOT. BUT, I still look back at runners left in scoring position and the number of hits and think..."man. damn. shit...." That is what I think.

It was a low total, and one or two more clutch hits and you probably would have gotten the over, but there are three umps they have that generally if you always play whichever direction you have a good shot, at least even if i don't play it, i lay off if i'm thinking the other way. Just making sure you had that extra piece of info for the future.
