1 OBVIOUS Sunday baseball....

The most obvious play on the board tomorrow is Philly/Tampa going over. Are you kidding me, both starters have an ERA over 6 and it isn't getting any better, in fact their last 3 starts it has gotten worse. McClung (a season long automatic fade prospect) went 0-3 with an ERA over 8! Madsen himself has an ERA over 7, between them they have given up on average over 14 1/2 runs in their last 3 starts. Need more? Overs are 8-0 in Tampa's last 8 interleague road games and that was without a bum like McClung on the hill. He's even one of those rare pitchers that walks more guys than he will strike out, don't see that real often out of starters up in the bigs. I think he had about a dozen more base on balls issued than he did strike outs. Do I need to go on? This one should get ugly and it should get ugly fast, they might have 12 runs in the first 2 innings. Anyway saying all this (and knowing what kind of season it is) my play is:

Philly/TB U11 (+104) Pinnacle :howdy: :howdy:

CRIS has 11- (-115) but I don't recommend it, besides we won't need it. This game is so obviously an over play they might not score 5 runs between them. I know I can't win of late, time to take the other side of what I think would be the right side, LOL. Good luck men.

How is McClung still in the majors? This guy is the worst pitcher I've seen all year (and that's saying a lot). 34 K's to 45 walks, 6.51 ERA, and for the love of god if Tampa wants to start him why don't they make him a permenant home pitcher....on the road 9.37 ERA, 2.27 WHIP and hitters are hitting .330 off him. Tampa is 3-11 when he starts too. Philly is going to be angry tomorrow and I could see Howard, Utley and Abreu all taking this meatball single A pitcher yahtzee multiple times.

Love the over ....its hot for the first time with sunlight too in philly for this 90 degree plus afternoon game, it could be set at 14 and i'd bet over here .

Me too Dub, that is why I refuse to bet it. I mean I wouldn't be surprised if one of these two teams scores 11 all by themselves. And yes it could be Tampa too, Madsen is no prize either, he's getting hit hard right now. Problem is I have sucked betting overs this year. I got on Radke when he led all MLB starters in ERA. His was way up there and just getting pounded anytime he got near the mound. Played him in a few overs and he looked like the return of Bob Gibson out there. I have been so consistantly wrong it seems silly to keep paying out to bet the same way. I think one way they define insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results.

It does look like an easy over, I agree. I didn't even touch on bullpens, Tampa is definitely going to need there's with McClung out there and they might be just as bad as he is. Just some pathetic arms out there. I really just can't see anyway this game stays under, that is why I am on it, LOL.

Its the heat for me here. I do like Philly to win the rl too. The totals in Philly I have been watching and waiting and this is the first hot day game. The temp on the field will be 130 and the ball will just fly in philly Sunday. Love it and Philles to win. Good Luck.

what would you say is the major difference b/w the philly sun and the baltimore sun? one is a newspaper and one is not?

Well don't know Camden Yards enough but in Philly at Citizens Park at the right times the ball flys out to center as much as anywhere. Been wating for this day for some time.

I was just asking b/c the, 'baltimore sun' is a big local paper and u made mention of the philly sun. more just a product of my bordom than anything. i apologize.

Yep, over is a lock now. I still think though had I bet it over they would be flashing McClung on live ESPN updates as he took his no-hitter into the 8th inning.
