About to lay back down and enjoy the Croatia-Japan game at 9:00 EST and notice it isnt listed on the cable listings. Checked online listings and of course it is on ABC but not my local ABC affiliate. Looks like the locals will go apeshit if ABC doesnt show their bevy of Sunday morning religion shows. First up we have the "Hour of Power" (described simply as religion) and then we have "Jack Van Impe Presents" (described as A nondenominational yet Christian view of current news)

ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2 will be telecasting EVERY game of the WORLD CUP.

Did you guys even read his post? The game is on ABC, but his local ABC affiliate chose not to carry it, choosing instead of carry religious programming.

That can't be right. I can see the listings in the paper being wrong, but I'd be AMAZED if a local affiliate overrode the ABC world cup broadcast.

Someone in the soccer forum said yesterday instead of showing the USA game on ABC they showed the WNBA game. This was in Sacramento I believe.

I'd be livid and would storm the ABC affiliate.

Our affiliate went with religious programming also however it was on univision here the game would of put you back to sleep anyways did not miss much

We had the soccer on here in Vegas....the religious programming would have been much more exciting!
