Orioles @ Angels - Saturday
<HR style="COLOR: #fdde82" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->LISTED pitchers of Bedard and Jered Weaver ONLY
i see Jered Weaver is making his MLB debut tonite. congrats to you Jered. i got to see jered pitch several times at long beach state when he faced my fullerton titans
NOT very impressed by him
first off he is every bit as emotionally unstable as his brother Jeff - maybe even more so
second - the jered weaver i saw ONLY had a fastball and nothing else. in college you can get away with it because you are so much better than most hitters so throwing a fastball past them is no biggie. in the minor leagues he put up solid numbers - but once again - the key words are MINOR LEAGUES
anyone know what happens in the big leagues to pitchers who ONLY have a fastball and NOTHING else? that's right - the game turns into BP for the other team
i fully expect to see that here. i expect the orioles to score a TON of runs tonite and just light up Weaver like a Xmas tree
I know Bedard will never be confused for Roger Clemens but compared to Jered he will
