I will start it off.

CARL CRAWFORD--Tampa

This kid has legit 30-30 potential as he now is beginning to hit the long ball with more regularity. He just hit his #10 of the season today in Philadelphia. Very good defensive LF'er that would regard him as one of the best in the league in that regard.

After todays homer, Carl is now hitting over .420 this year with runners in scoring position.

Carl has averaged over 50 stolen bases in his first three seasons prior to this season.

Very exciting player for the up and coming TB D-rays.

The guy reminds me of Corey Maggete for some reason.

I'll add Raul Ibanez.

Totally agree, espicially with Grandersen. He has been a great leadoff man this year since he has taken Nook Logan's spot.

If he were in a larger market, you would hear more about this kid outside of Baseball Tonight.

if you judge by all Star Fan voting then the answer to this is Joe Mauer (Minnesota)......

Bet most cant name what team he is on.

Ask this question in 1 or 2 years and most will know well about Josh.

Chone Figgins. Players who can play almost any position effectively are huge.

Not all that obscure, but I think Eric Chavez doesn't get the notoriety he deserves. Defensively, he's a modern day Brooks Robinson.

He never makes all-star teams because he's always hitting around .225 at the break and then tears it up in the 2nd half.

Agree. I heard on something last week--either BBTN or ESPN radio--that Crawford has more hits at this stage of his career than Rose and more stolen bases at this point than Brock. He also has power numbers comparable to some of the greats. If Tampa can hang on to him, they may be able to be competitive in a year or so.

Love Carl Crawford; believe if he were playing on any other team but the Rays he'd be a rising superstar.

How about Miguel Cabrera? Guy doesn't get nearly the kind of recognition he deserves and is probably the finest young hitter in baseball not named Albert.
