yes i guess we can stop the season now as we all know the nats are going to win the whole thing since they are the best team..not!! the yanks gave them 2 games in a row on just plain being stupid.....ck

obviously there was no way that Rivera was pitching today

He was used early the last two games and there was no Farnsworth either

It was Wang or nothing apparantly

And yes I had the Yanks yesterday and whined all about it...sorry about that

he threw 17 pitches and 19 pitches. thats what closers do. he could have definitely came in today, unless he specifically told torre he has sore. and if he's sore after 17 pitches and 19 pitches, the yanks need to look for a new closer, rubber game of a series, 1 run lead...closer written all over it
