the Angels have sent Jered Weaver back to the minors....I'm sure there are some decent reasons for doing so but he WAS their best pitcher the past couple weeks. there is no reason why his brother Jeff should even be in the starting rotation and there is NO reason why Hector Carrasco should even be on the active roster.

i have been a lifelong Angel fan, i live minutes away from the stadium...but right now I can honestly say that i will be rooting for them to nosedive after making such a horrible decision so they will punished for their stupidity.

does anybody think that this was the right move for their organization? i want to hear your thoughts...:toast:

I think it may cost them a prospect to get rid of Jeff Weavers contract. I know they are looking to move him.

You have to send Jared down to the minors so he can stay on a 5 day rotation. He wont keep up his current pace, so better to let him add a pitch down in the minors before he faces the same teams again the next time

You have to send him since some of the other guys would be out of options and the team may have to give them their outright release. You need to keep those guys on the roster to trade.
