Ok, I just went back and read a whole bunch of my old post in the baseball forum.

Although I am 100% certain that alot of times people take what I say out of context, I do have to agree that more than once or twice I have acted less than professional.

I can see how a 3rd party can read my post and get tired of the :cryingcry .

Its just been a very frustrating season. Baseball is really the only sport that I bet full-time. I am an extreme specialist in SUNBELT FOOTBALL and BASKETBALL, but thats only about 10 to 15 bets per season. So baseball is the only sport I bet daily with enough volume to really make serious money. Regardless of what anyone wants to believe, this is my first bad season in a long, long, time.. and I did a really poor job of dealing with it.

Im sure I had my share of lucky breaks in past seasons, as a matter of fact, I had one year almost the exact opposite of this season. It was 2003, my best season ever. It seemed like no matter what a touched it turned to gold. No matter how many runs my team was down, they always seemed to comeback.

So I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

Next year im going to try to do a much better job of keeping my emotion out of my threads. I know thats the last thing most of you want to read. There have been many times in the past that I have posted things in the heat of the moment that later on I just wish that I could delete the post after cooling off.

I have never intentionaly lied on this forum. I told everyone about 3 weeks ago that im done betting for the year. I was 100% honest about that at the time, and I thought I meant that from the bottom of my heart.

But after the 3 week cooling off period, im ready to try to start up again.

As far as me posting my picks on the forum, I still believe I need to take the rest of the season off. I will resume that next season.

People say that I said that BUCS, JOURNEYMAN and TN seemed to fall on the lucky side of the comebacks.

I did not mean for that to sound the way it came out. I can see where someone would say that I was just trying to make excuses for my poor fortune.

I have nothing but 100% respect for all 3 of them cappers, and all 3 of those guys know that.

I have bragged on BUCS,JOUNEYMAN and Tommorows Newspaper hundreds of times. And wish them nothing but success with all there plays.

That was a dumb comment, not meant to slight them, but it could not have come out any worse.

Just another one of my boneheaded, heat of the moment post that I wish I would not have made.

Anyway, good luck everyone. Have a good rest of the season.

I do wish you the best CHOPTALK. If you really did win 8 years straight
then I do understand your extreme frustration. I can relate to that
to a certain extent. After being extremely successful as long as
I have been wagering on sports this baseball was really my first
experience with losing alot also, so I can relate.

Well all we can do is learn from this and move on. CHOPTALK we
will make some money during football season I promise. I believe football
especially college is the easiest sport to make coin on. Well
I really think this should be your last thread about this situation.

Good Luck with everything.

Classy post Chop. We've all had our bad days, and it's all too easy to use the forum to vent. Been there, done that.

Keep your head up & good luck :toast:

I did not quit because I have no bankroll.

I have plenty of bankroll left.

I made a promise a long time ago, once I got way up.

I would never spend a dollar of my own money betting again. I intend to keep that promise.

Good luck 5doors. There are plenty of other people you can play/fade.

Chop don't stop!! Take it from me that you can turn your season around. I started worse than you..yeah I did....down over 50 unitds in the 1st 2 months of this year. All it takes is one good run and your back in this. After being down so far I'm now on the brink of pulling even, hell this month I'm on a 21-5 run on my 2 unit plays...documented right here at the rx. All I can say my friend is that you can turn it around.. Gltu

This guy is the biggest attention whore on the internet. This is almost as bad as his important poll as to whether he should combine his preseason baseball record with his regular season record.

Either post plays or go away.

Or eat a sandwich.

Whichever the case maybe, you gave it a good try, and thats all anyone can do.
Baseball is without a doubt the toughest sport there is IMO. As many have found out the hard way.
BOL to you.

chop, just look at my year..

down (-30.89 units) at the worse, just a few days ago.. playing those darn systems..

went back to highly selecetive capping and have made it all the way down to only (-18 units) for the season.. by being selective.. i fully intend on being even by the allstar break and still have a big year.. just cant fool around with systems..

why not "list your yearly record"...... but start over at 0 for a 2nd half record and be highly selective..

just list the entire record each time, or they will bust your balls.. what im saying is, 4 or 5 in a row will knock a dent in it..

that was a good post

you know theres a difference between being a professional at something and it being a hobby

a professional tries to cut down on the emotion of money and play his/her system objectively

theres always a lesson to learn in both good times and bad
