Pujols went on the DL so I haven't needed any HR posts.
.
They are 8-5 without him and have avgd more runs per game and increased their division lead.
.
Marquis has gone 6-0 his last 7 starts.
.
And tonight starts a world series preview perhaps!!

Viking...

Only two negatives about the team are Mulder and Ponson...

If the Cards are going to win the pennant...Mulder is going to have to step it up and get his act together...tomorrow night would be a good time for Mulder to step it up...facing that Sox lineup...

Of course Ponson has been demoted to the bullpen...opening a spot for Reyes...which turns a negative(Ponson) into a positive as Reyes looks to have great potential...

Ponson is a sick slob, Jocketty gave him a 2nd chance and he has gained a bunch of weight, and refuses to follow Dave Duncan's workout program... as he does not do any running in between starts with Carp, Suppan, Marquis and Mulder...and he wonders why his fat ass is gassed after 4 innings...what a joke his career has become...

I look for the Cardinals to release him soon before he becomes a clubhouse cancer.

Anyway...I am looking forward to the Cards/WSOX series too...

Rumor was swirling that Viking611 was juicing and was about to be suspended by the Rx for a month, he was never tested and appears to be 20 lbs lighter tonight....interesting

I think the Mutts/Tigers could be in the WS instead.

White Sox may put a spanking on St Louis this week. Oh, and Ozzie will be fired up for the Houston series this weekend. He is not a big fan of Garner.
