I'm only playing 1% of my bankroll right now per bet for baseball, but I think i'll start doing 2% like I did for NCAAB.

Bankrolls are for the big fish. I don't see how betting 1-2% would ever get you anywhere. I have mde depoits as small as $100. For the normal everyday players I think this is how most of us do it. I will bet all my bankroll sometimes. Why not I play for fun and it's no problem to reload. So all thi bakroll talk I think does not apply to 80% of the people in here. Unless your a pro what difference does it make. Hell Ive went on runs with $50 before.

never higher than 2% (thats bad enough) if I lose money it kills me for 2-3 days, I could not imagine betting more than 1-2%, usually 1% tops.

1% on small plays
2% on medium plays
5-10 % on Big plays.

Books love to see people that dont increase the size of the wager as they know that the grind along with the vig will get most all of those types of players.

I think it's the opposite. Books love Martingale players because they know they always go bust.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But i have been around for many many years with that ratio.
Sure you must pick winners when you get it up out of the mud. But very few people can actaully pick 50% winners. So as the ole farmers say "you must make hay while the sun shines"

I do know that bookmakers laugh when they see someone on the Grind of 1%. They most usually say i wish we had More of the kinds.

How would a bookie even know the customer was playing 1%, you could be betting 1k at 5 books, with a total balance of 10k (50%) or you could be betting 1K with a 100K in reserve, the bookie has no way of knowing.

1-2%, well it's about the longterm, most serious bettors can't handle much volatility and don't want to risk overbetting. I'd imagine anyone thinking about making money in sportsbetting would pay attention to bankroll management. It also appears that the regulars (the more serious bettors) are the ones posting in this thread.

I couldn't imagine someone betting <1% though. I just see it as a huge waste of ev, but then again I'm pretty tolerant of volatility.

My sentiments EXACTLY! 1% for intertainment, 10% for The Biggies, which average from 5-10 per College Football season ONLY! Insiders, you and I seem to be joined at our older hips:lolBIG: Are you in the mountains? LT:103631605 :money8:
