The AL has won all 3 home field-deciding All-Star games to date.

MLB owners agreed upon this once again tuesday....

So lets say the American League goes on a 17-1 run like the NL did in the 60's and 70's I can't see this lasting....it really is not a good rule IMO.

Even though baseball home field is not as significant for any team outside of Minnesota in WS play .

Nothing like having the one Royal, Cub, and Marlin deciding who gets home field in the WS.

You may wanna throw out the Fish, they're playing competetive ball.

Considering Phil Garner will have every Astro in there just short of JR Richard and Cesar Cedeno, the only Marlin will be Cabrera.

Always thought this was a ridiculous way to determine which team would have home field advantage for the grand prize of trying to win a World Series.

Would much rather see either the leagues rotate annually, perhaps best overall record, or perhaps team with best interleague record.

If you're going to use the Allstar Game, might as well flip a coin every year.
