i had houston of course...never go with houston, dodgers, giants,a's , mariners, dbacks, cards, braves, nats, padres or cubs or pirates or phillies to win a game for ya
You know, it wasn't the price that sucked for me. That wasn't it.
What it was...it was a 2 out 2 strike HOMER that tied the game up and set up extra-innings. I had already made peace with the loss. HOWEVER, then...THEN...I had hope again. I had more than hope. I felt strongly that Houston was to win the game. Then first pitch, top of the tenth....BONG HIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Game over.
So, it wasn't the loss...it was the way it lost (including the go ahead run on the Passed Ball with a runner on third and two outs...in the 9th inning.) The Houston Astros just toyed with my heart today and it pissed me off. tulsa

I was looking how bad we got screwed....Lidge slips off the mound and throws a wild pitch, they don't get the double play called, Wilson throws home and allows the runners to advance in the 7th, etc... I had the under...but it screwed both of us
check this out:
He quickly struck out pinch-hitter Ruben Sierra for the first out before he ran into a jam. Castillo stroked a one-out single, stole second and was moved to third on Joe Mauer's fielder's choice.
Yet that fielder's choice easily could have been an inning-ending double play. Unfortunately for the Astros, first-base umpire Mike Reilly ruled Mauer safe at first on a bang-bang play.
"I thought it was probably a double play," Garner said. "Replays showed that he was out. It's unfortunate."
That missed out was unfortunate for Lidge because he allowed the go-ahead run with the next batter, Michael Cuddyer, at the plate.
