He was still decent this season, as a matter of fact, I would still rank him in the top 5 at his position.

But you can certainly start to see the chinks in the armor. I think if he stays, its about to get ugly for the guy.

It was very hard to watch the way Patrick and Hakeem left the game. It was almost embarrasing.

I have heard that SHAQ has made more money off the court than any player in NBA history(INCLUDING JORDAN) He also does not have the gambling problem that JORDAN has.

Shaq just said hes playing 4 more years. I promise you, 4 years from now, we will be watching a very sad site if he stays that long.

he just said ' time to go back and get #5' so I doubt it...

It wouldn't be a bad idea for Shaq to hang it up though IMO.

The perfect time for Shaq to retire is when every last cent of his contract is paid to him, Don't leave money on the table. I wouldn't walk away from the 60 million or so that would be owed to me

If he does that, we are going to watch a really bad situation.

Worse than WILLIE MAYS.

Nah...don't think it'll be worse. He is declining overall but he has a superstar in Dwayne Wade to carry the team.

If Shaq had to carry the team, oh yes it'd be a disaster. But give him the right supporting cast and he can give you production that you need. He won't put up big numbers anymore but he is still a force.

He is on a big high right now and is talking on adrealine. Eventually he will come off that high and rethink things. I dont think he will able to crank it up for another once he realxes. That or he is on the phone in about a month recruiting some new players.

top 5 centers in the league? ya think?

he doesnt need to carry the team...he doesnt need to double reverse spin move fade away through the legs....he just needs that big body presence in there to dunk, rebound, clog the lane, alley oop, draw doubles, even singles, pass, he'll continu to decline but it wont get ugly

he wants 5 or 6 rings....hes got 100 million contract and hes got like 9 kids....

One of my best predictions.

This is a 2 year thread made after Miami won the title.

He should have quit right there.

Chop....you really think Jordan has a gambling problem? Only people who can't pay have a problem...
