Any last minute pregame thoughts/selections?

Personally, looking forward to the two late games with much more anticipation.

No feel on either of these two early affairs.

The only PREmatch action on this end is for the contest.

MEXICO and the OVER 2.

I've got Mexico/Port O2 and took a prop flier on a 0-0 tie with Iran/Angola at 8-1

What do you like on the afternoon games, fish?

Only one I'm liking is the Ivory Coast -1/2. The Neth/Arg game should be quite entertaining.

Really like the IVORY COAST at first glance and will be doing a little more research prior to the match but at this time it looks like a strong play for me.

The NETH/ARG game appears to be a FINAL FOUR caliber type game in my opinion.

ARG with the flashy offense going up against a great defense.............going to be the best match-up of the WORLD CUP thus far in terms of quality teams.

I hate how the games are on at the same time now. I have watch one (which will be Mex/Portugal today) and then flip to the other channel to see the score.

I think I heard that the Neths will be sitting a lot of players due to their yellow card situation.

Same deal with Portugal all 5 players with yellow cards are not playing. But I understand why its like this so the games aren't anticlimatic

Just wish the Arg/Neth game was the first or second game of the first round when the still needed a win to make it to the second round. Now both teams are assured to move on but it depends on which spot.

I like Ivory Coast as well. Serbia is a team in turmoil.

Is C. Ronaldo playing? What's the word with Portugal? Are they just happy with a tie?

It would be great if the game meant something, but both teams have advanced and might play it close to the vest.

No Didier Drogba for Ivory Coast that has to be taken into account.

Nope yellow card he is not playing. Portugal would be fine with a tie sadly.

The winner and second place finisher of this group is going to face a tough ass matchup with either Arg or Neth. Should be a great matchup!

So does a Mexico win put them in 1st place or does Portugal have that secured no matter what?

Wins gives it to Mexico but no more talk of such happenings.
