I agree 100%...one of the most mind boggling threads I have ever read was across the street by a supposed "professional" that makes his baseball bets with "action".

Wouldn't it make sense to make an "action" bet if the pitcher couldn't possibly be replaced by a worse pitcher..?

The line is adjusted...you don't keep the same line.

If one only bets ACTION, one can make their own conclusions.

1. They are "action junkies"
2. They are providing plays for others.
3. Gambling is not their #1 source of income.
4. All of the above

It would take an idiot to play action.

Even if someone has the false belief that it evens out at the end of the season, you still are at the mercy of the sportsbooks adjusted number.

If the starting pitcher does not matter, why even waste the time capping the game.

What does #2 have to do with anything.

I agree with the other 3 though.

Unless you play action at Betfair where your bet stands while the market adjusts.

Ask Bucsfan. He never lists pitchers. I dont understand that thinking either, but it has worked well for him the last couple of years

What about if say Padro Martinz is pitching and your betting against him and the team your on only got a shitty pitcher why no got action only good can come out of it if Padro dont start its gonna be someone worse and if your shitty pitcher dont star it will more than likely be someone better.

What if you're going golfing ? And when you stumble in to the 19th hole all liquored up you want to be sure you have action on the 3:20 PM Cubs game. What then?:toast:

What line does Bucsfan use for the adjusted line? For grading purposes I have no idea how you could "list pitchers."

Just for the record, I was not referring to Bucsfan.
