Mets -1.5 -106
Pitchers: Soler/Mays

Mays is crap and hasn't had a good start in any of his last 10. Matter of fact, he's been rocked. Cincy isn't hitting and Soler has finally started pitching like I figured he would. Mets win easy.

Yankees +116
Yankees/Phillies Over 10.5 -111

Pitchers: Wright/Hamels

Hamels is not pitching as well as folks figured he would and even without Posada, the Yankees hit lefties well. Playing the over since Philly is hitting decently. One reason I think that Wright will do okay is that Philly relies a ton on the longball to score runs and Wright doesn't give up many although he'll still give up runs here.

Washington +163
Washington/Boston Over 10.5 -101

Pitchers: Hill/Lester

Washington hits lefties very well and Lester hasn't impressed me yet. Hill has pitched solid although Boston will put up some runs. High-scoring tossup game.

Cubs/Tribe Under 8.5 -125
Pitchers: Zambrono/Sabathia

Sabathia is a nice pitcher and the Cubs can't hit anyone, especially lefties. I would not be surprised if they get blanked. Tribe is hitting decently but Zambrono has dominated everyone lately. I wanted to bet on the Indians but laid off. 2-1 type game.

Arizona -133
Pitchers: Webb/Shields

I know this is a huge square play but I just can't resist. Webb is a very nice pitcher and TB's offense relies too much on the long ball. Shields has pitched well but Arizona has hit very well on this road trip. Call me a sucker but I'm on it.

San Diego +135
Pitchers: Young/Millwood

Young has pitched very well lately but he has had easy matchups and that scares me a little bit but he did decent with his home games in Texas last year when he pitched for the Rangers. All of Millwood's bad starts have been at home and SD is a very good hitting team although playing half their games in a bigtime pitchers' park hurts their stats. SD has the better bullpen and I don't see how Texas can be this big of a favorite in a game that looks about even. Home park isn't worth 50 cents, especially when the opposing pitcher knows what it's like to pitch in this park.

White Sox -1.5 +125
Pitchers: Buehrle/Marquis

Buehrle has pitched great and although the Cards do hit lefties well, they haven't faced many the quality of Buehrle who has dominated many a lefty-killing lineup this seaosn. Marquis has been very poor on the road and no team in baseball is killing the ball like the White Sox have done over their last 10 games.

Pittsburgh/Kansas City Over 9 -125
Pitchers: Snell/Wood

Wood gets rocked about every time out on the mound. Snell has pitched like crap on the road against decent hitting teams. Nobody notices but KC hits very well at home. KC's bullpen is also crap and Pittsburgh's will struggle is Snell doesn't go 7 innings. Not sure why this is a 9 but I'll take it. Should have been a 10 with the over at -112 or so.

Colorado +110
Pitchers: Cook/Zito

No idea why but Oakland has stopped hitting and have been shut out twice in a row. Cook is a nice pitcher who should do well in this matchup. Rockies have been hitting nicely at home recently (kinda odd the other team hasn't followed-suit) and the Rockies have dominated lefties this season. Zito has had two poor road starts and I don't see his luck improving here.
