I'm surprised that more guys don't bolt out the door the second he walks into the room.
This scum of the earth ought to be shot on site-especially the repeat offenders.

Besides this is entrapment at its' finest and should be deemed unconstitutional, although it never will because no one gives two bits about violating the Constitution anymore. Either abide by the Constitution fully or do away with it completely, this pick and choose BS is getting on my nerves.

Labeeb said:How many times are we going to have to discuss what is entrapment? Deceiving someone does not entrapment make. Entrapment takes place when when law enforcement encourages or induces someone to commit a criminal act when they express a desire to not go ahead. Had the police gone out trolling and initiating the conversations with these individuals then the defense of entrapment could certainly be used. The police and NBC have made it clear that the accused were the ones to initiate the conversations and then to initiate the sexual tone of the conversations therefore entrapment didn't taken place.
HinesWard86 said:In one of the Dateline specials on this, one of the accused called the girl to back out. The girl was that girl who was deputized because she worked with Perverted Justice. The girl (I forget her name Deb or something) then talked the guy into coming over anyway, even though he wanted to back out. That isn't entrapment?
Labeeb said:If in this instance this is what has taken place, then that person would have a case for sure. Perhaps the accused had a past record and the question as to whether they would do it if not provoked was yes, then entrapment may or may not be used (Just playing devil's advocate here. I don't think this was the case) It seems like in every other case presented this didn't occur. Guess I'll have to be on the lookout for that one case as I stopped watching these a month or so ago. They just keep replaying the same ones over and over again.
HinesWard86 said:Right, they only showed it in that one case. But it leads me to wonder how many more cases do we have where the NBC people are talking these guys into coming that want to back out. Even worse, I am fairly certain that the NBC people initiate a lot of these conversations, since there have been a few other cases where the NBC people mentioned sex and the possibility of meeting first. I am not an advocate of the accused in most cases, but this is one of them. These people need help, not to be laughed at and made fun of their problems on national television. Honestly, I am very tempted to go and try to dig up dirt on Chris Hanson and throw it in his face (I'm sure Fox would be fine with broadcasting that). Should the ones that are caught by REAL underaged girls be punished? Absolutely. But they shouldn't be subjected to the humiliation they have to endure on national television, that's just wrong.
