I stayed away tonight.

Last night was when I washed my hands of them. Knowing how bad that bullpen is and the team's motivation is gone. Seems like the youth movement isnt doing what it did last year to the overall team morale.

So if you continue to bet them as they are, it is a bed you must lay in.

what making me mad at the end of every nite is that im not betting against them but heck you would think the next day they are due for 1 win anyway,but every day they lose.just heard today that John SMoltz said that he had no problem in moving to another team......ck

I know, I know. It was just the team total over 4 runs. They didn't even have to win the game. They got halfway there.

maybe if he pitches a complete game, but even then Fish playing excellent interleague ball..should be a Braves fan base filling up seats tonight

What I can't figure out, is how a losing team with a long losing streak still ends up getting favored at all. Seems like the bookies are in wishfull thinking that they're due for a win too. Can't win if you don't produce runs, and have no bullpen no matter how good a starter pitches.

Fossum has tossed batting practice to Atlanta in his 2 starts he has faced them. Not to mention he is just a pitiful pitcher. If there is ever a time to bet on the Braves it is tonight. This isn't the Kansas City Royals here they have good players, Giles, Renteria, Chipper, Andruw Jones, McCann, Francoeur all these guys are great to solid major league hitters. There bullpen is just trash but Smoltz should give them a lot of innings tonight. Just my .2 cents.

Chipper---? Its hard to find any objective reason not to think Tampa should not be favored instead of getting 40 cents. Just a very strange way of thinking to want to pay money odds here.

Andruw and surprisingly Franceour have been the only 2 on the Braves doing anything offensively...maybe Renteria as well.

Chipper has been just beyond bad.
