Ive been on a good roll in the world cup so far but please remember that my world cup plays and plays in the CWS are small ones.. mostly $50/$100 bets... Would be thrilled to make around $1500 on the 2 combined.. My real action lies in the 2nd half MLB season.. Plays there will be from 2-5 units ($200-$500)...

MLB for thursday: Once again, ill post the play tomorrow morning.. I need to look up a few things.. Boston was right on time (wed night) and im off to a fast start in my handicapping.. Ive already made up quite a bit of ground, from my 1st half debacle with systems..

I am in a zone right now with my capping and am feeling very confident. Cant reach for plays and really i am capping one sided at the moment.. Im definately not going to be your man, if your looking for lots of action.. I will be playing very few plays, so best of luck if you tag along. be back tomorrow..

play for thursday:

TB (-1.67) listed... $334 to win $200..

only thing keeping this from being a bigger play is the price.. its bad enough to lay the big juice but its even worse to do it for a large wager (my opinion)... Ill keep this one small and hope to continue my winning ways..

Kazmir against Edgar Martinez.... what can you say... the ace of the TB team against a guy making his first start and hasnt won since 2003.. TB going for the sweep today but that has absolute zero effect on my way of handicapping.. TB is playing really well right now and i hope it continues through today..

This is a day game, with an early start.. Ill have one more game tonight and will post it later in the day..

Tampa is laying a stinker so far! I think Tampa should atleast put 4 on the board today. Rays need to get going! Why do make a team under .500 such a huge favorite? I know the D-backs have sucked as of late.:nohead:

if i play a big favorite and i consider anything over (-1.40) as a big favorite, im probably going to play it for a small amount...

i play between $200 and $500, with $200 being a small amount.. i meant gonzalez and not martinez...

when i cap, there is a big difference (to me) in where the team is playing.. i put a lot of stock in home/away stats... thats just me, and i know what has worked for me in the past and what doesnt work for me.. ive been at this since 1986, so i have learned alot of things over the years...

i think that i can make you guys (and myself) some money the remainder of the season but you make the wagers at your own risk.. ill post to keep myself on track and disciplined..

i also want to apologize to the "gambling gods" for calling world cup betting easy..

ill post tonights game later, im hitting the gym..

ok guys, back from gym, nice to see Kazmir and the drays take care of business..

on to tonight:

there are only 2 games that make sense to me, the whitesox or the orioles.. guess which one that im choosing..

first off its not the wsox........ true, they have smoked the cards for 2 straight days now but its freddy tonight (and at night).. the cardinals are still a good team..

My play for tonight is on balt.

Balt (-1.30) $260 to win $200..

still keeping it small, as i dont trust the orioles and benson that much,,,, but this game has several qualities that i look for in a pick.. Florida coming off that nice win streak but they did lose last night and was 2 hit... ive noticed that teams coming off nice winning streaks may drop a few once the streak is over.. Benson has not pitched bad....... 4-1 lifetime vs marlins and trying to get his 9th win tonight.. 2-3 at home but a respectable 3.35 era there... I think baltimore will come to play tonight in front of the home folks and ill back them for a small amount tonight..

just to brief some of you on me,, once the world cup and cws is over, ill be focusing on the MLB fulltime until football.. you can expect about 50 games per month from me, when im running the way that i want to... not an action junkie by any means..

lets see if we can stay hot with baltimore tonight.
