Typical up and down rollercoaster last night. Get Oakland a win in extra innings, get the Cub OVER taken away due to rain, get Phillips to bail out the Red pen and beat Wagner and Mets... All in all, earlier this year, I was losing two out of three decisions like that nightly, now I'm winning two out of three or something close to it... Moral is easy here, just keep doing your work and things will eventually turn around - and rather quickly if you look for value with the dogs like I do, haha.... Went 3-2 after they wiped out my Cub total, and won 872 last night. Now 143-170-6 and down 2250 for the year...

A thought: If Oil of Olay Soler can be a 215 favorite over Joe Mays and Pedro can be a 230 or so favorite over Eric Milton, does that mean they think Mays sucks that bad, or Milton or Soler is that good? Doesn't make any sense to me. If Soler is 160 or so like he should have been, then you make Pedro 230. But if Soler if 215, then you have to make Pedro like 280 in my mind. Of course, they prolly realize yesterday they just made a mistake. Thankfully, they had to pay for it.

Going with Kazmir today as the Rays have been blistering the NL and the Snakes have lost 14 of 16. Now they sent out Edgar Gonzalez, a guy who pitched an inning the other night in AAA before they told him he was called up. The righty is looking for his first win since Sept. 7, 2003. Overall, he is just 2-10 with a 8.58 ERA in 20 games, including 12 starts. Kazmir struck out nine Phillies last time and lowered his ERA to 3.39. He'll be in the All-Star game.

The play: Tampa -1.5 runs plus 125 - 400 to win 500

Back with some others later on.... GO USA....

Maholm has been going better as of late but 'The Hitman' appeared to found his groove the last time, retiring the first 16 Astros last time on the road in a win. Nelson's last four have gone UNDER, and will try KC small and the UNDER with it in a parlay...

The plays: Kansas City plus 114 - 400 to win 456

2teams - KC plus 113 / UNDER 9.5 plus 105 - 300 to win 1,009.95

Olsen seems to be in a groove at this point. He's got four straight victories under his belt and I wouldn't let the only loss in the last 10 games (last night) deter me from staying with the 'Fish. Olsen silenced the powerful Toronto lineup, yielding just one run with eight strikeouts in seven innings. Benson is in good form but this price seems fair for Florida.

THe play: Florida plus 126 - 400 to win 504

Don't know how they can make Garcia this cheap or the total this low. I realize Reyes is the future in STL but my God, the White Sox are scoring more than the Chicago Bears did in 2005. Hard not to think this one won't be a track meet with Young (11-2 this year) behind the plate.

THe play: STL/CWS OVER 10 -102 - 510 to win 500

That's it for me today. GL fellas, off to work on tomorrow's card...
