if i was a pro athlete, probably not, already making enough loot.

If i were a NCAA athlete with little or no shot at making it professionally but with enough PT to alter the game, then I would seriously think about it.

The question wasnt if your the athlete? The question is if your a gambler. The question was if an athlete APPROACHED YOU. WOULD YOU DO IT.

Ofcourse not. Cannot believe the ethics of some folks of late. The Ozzie support group among other things. Truly unbelievable.

Hell No. People are looking at legit games with a microscope these days. It would very hard to fix a game without someone finding out. Now 10-15 years ago.........

Maybe

Buddy of mine has told me that McPherson came up to him and approached him about fixing games while at FSU, cuz McPherson knew the kid was a gambler. He could be pulling my chain, but I've seen some shady stuff since I've been out here.

I will never forget the first game he entered (just to run out the clock) with FSU covering, he coughed up the ball and the opponent, I can't recall who anymore, I think it may have been Wake runs it back inside the 10 and they end up scoring.

I remember posting how the game seemed fixed , the whole game seemed funny to me, and I usually don't pull out the fixed card...that game I will never forget though..

McPherson fixed a game in Raleigh versus NC State. He threw two "funny" red zone interceptions and coughed it up once. Everyone and their brother was on FSU, but the Wuffies ended up getting the upset. It looked very suspicious at the time. He supposedly had a gambling debt to a local bookie. Completely hearsay.

McPherson DEFINITELY had a gambling debt. That is one of the things I have heard from numerous people out here.

J-Man

I don't recall the game per se, but I do recall all the hubbub afterwards. When I arrived here for freshman year, some people will still grumbling that it was fixed.
