Scalpers or guys who bet like my example, please feel free to comment.

Here is how I have been betting religioulsy for 6 months now and am enjoying a solid year(esp hoops not so much bases).

Not scalping out the side at the sharp book (pinny,cris,etc..) and haveing NO OPINION on the bet but beating the slow moving book.

For example: Atlanta -141 at SIA and Toornto +145 at Pinny, so you just bet Atlanta -141 at SIA and thats it. I came to this conclusion after reading that ALMOST ALL scalpers I talked to lost to Pinny and beat the slow books and from talkinh to others who use this approach. Same happened thing happened to me when I tried scalping off and on?

Scalpers,
What I would like to know is how are you doing betting baseball this season? Have you beat the slow moving book more than Pinny or are you beating Pinnacle or do you bet the way I do?

Just curious? Would like to know if there is anyone here that approaches betting baseball the way I do?

If so, ask Wilheim for my e-mail would like to trade some thoughts and ideas on this subject(I have some good tips and was hoping to learn from some others on things they have seen). Really interested in this betting style. I made a killing (hitting 56% on close to 700 plays) with hoops this way but in baseball still spinning my wheels.

Thanks, I have to go back to work. Will get back to whomever answers this later.

I thank my lucky stars I didn't do as many suggested and JUST bet the SIA side when facing PINNY.

In the short time that I have been with SIA, they have kicked PINNYs ass.

Its really not that though, as it is just a SMALL sample of games(probably between 150-200 or so) and do believe in the longterm one would CERTAINLY be in the BLACK by just taking the SIA good number.

Lifetime am one of the few that are losing on this forum at SIA.........down close to $4,000 with limits ranging from $200-500 and the occassional $1000 that is allowed on NFL sides.

Fish,
What about overall this baseball season? Are you up or down at Pinny (as they are I am sure your #1 buy back book)? Really curious?

SIA I believe has beaten Pinny so far, but recently pinny has been making a comeback.

Down a tad, but haven't played there as much as you would believe, and certainly not much in the past month.

MATCHBOOK serves me very well, much better than Pinnacle.

Very seldom ever wager over $5,000 on a game.

I do almost exactly what you do and I had a terrible May but June has been good (April was pretty much a wash.) The main difference is I use Pinny, 5dms overnights, and the rest locals about 13 locals actually. I play totally blind to who the teams are i'm betting I just get where they put me.

I like your strategy Ice. Let me give some advice that I have learned. Don't ever bet over 1% of your roll on one game. I've seen other square books kick Pinny's ass for more than 3 months at a time. Pinny will still win in the long run, but it's really amazing how streaky it can get. Just be able to withstand any disastarous strectches and you will get the gold in the long run. It's not as easy as some around here will have you believe but there is still money to be made. Of course to do it least risky way, you pretty much have to be chained to your computer for hours upon hours each day. If you can master "lead taking" then there is tons of money to be made.

I have noticed a definate change in the market where in past years it was a situation where I constantly had to feed Pinny with deposits and withdraw from other books but now it has evened out (over the last year or so) and the other shops I trade at have become a little more sharp I guess ...

Its much easier to manage the money nowadays :)

... although I did notice that I lost every wager at Pinny yesterday and that hasn't happened in a LONG time ... interesting enough it is Mansion I have had to deposit with lately as per your previous post yesterday.

Ice I would love to talk about some methods having to do with scalping. I have recently gotten away from it as the Bases have actually been treating me all right but I am missing out on some oppritunity. I don't know if I can post my email or not but I would love to chat.

Make a small deposit at Matchbook and work Pinnacle against them leaving SIA and the others on the sidelines as an experiment.

Make micro plays against eachother until you get the feel for it, remember to figure in the 2% on a winning Matchbook play. I think you'll find this to be more advantageous than your current method.

MANY times you will find Matchbook in-house scalps with no need to bring in a Pinnacle number. Look for College Football scalps come September. With a good lead in you'll often find yourself holding in-house scalps on totals like OVER and UNDER 43 1/2 at a plus money differential.

you want to play at the SQUARE book, that is the slow moving book. You want the number you play to be scalpabe (breakeven or better with the opposite number ay Pinny).

So with your above example you want to play +155 (as Pinny is -155 now). More times than not the sharp side will be a dog or an under (not all the time but alot of the time). You don't ever want to make a wager at Pinny (if you are betting this way). You want to be able to make sure your wager that you are making (at slow moving square book) is a number that can be scalped wiht Pinny's (+155 square book can be scalped with Pinny's -155 right now). Bet +155.

Echo the above. I've stopped responding to these threads now. It can't lead to anything positive.

It may cost us a few dollars, not much more. If somebody wants to put up 50K spread out thru 20 someodd books, sweat payouts, sit in front of the screen all day and give up their life who am I to discourage it. No way to make a living. Only good if you gamble anyway and pick up some change on the line moves....JMHO:dancefool

Exactly Randy.

I guarantee you for every 100 people who actually try to scalp 99 quit. It is WAY WAY harder than it looks. Not at all worth it unless you have alot of time and resources and expierence. I hardly think their is anyhting on here that is going to make this doable for the public.

Another thing I wasn't telling anyone ho to scalp. I was talking how about 1 sided bets

The problem's not so much what you've posted, but rather that I've found myself typing, re-reading then deleting replies because they touch on less known stuff I don't want to mention, but I can't find a way to express the answer to a question without doing that.

So to save myself wasting time answering then not posting, I've just left them :)
