not Imperial Palace. Like when Wil says so and so is a ghost ( stone cold IP match) for another poster. It's good this ability exists to prevent contest fraud. I just don't understand it, and Google explanations are too technical for me to understand.

Is this something only mods can do or can anyone do it ? If anyone could you for example find out if poster x at EOG= poster y at RX ?

Does it stand for internet provider ?

IP address is captured when people log in to your server to access information, etc.

You dont run the server of therx or its message boards, therefore you cant see that kind of stuff

Each computer has its own personal identification number so to speak.

Sometimes computers on the same network, such as a library, university, etc all have the same IP address because they are running of the same internet connection so to speak.

so that's something only a mod ( only Wil ?) can see, and no way to tell across sites. That's about what I thought.
