Someone should teach them taking a walk is not a bad thing. With their speed a walk turns into a double a great deal of the time.

I attribute Giles and Rollins falling into this category b/c lead off isn't their natural spot in the line-up...they are batting there by necessity, or in Rollins case, stupidity of the manager. Abreau should be the Phillies lead off, but he refuses to hit there.

I was the one who started it.....so I think it was dig at what I thought over a year ago..at the time I thought he was..he ended up getting 200 hits for a Cub team last season that lost a ton of games.
i like juan pierre. he's not the best player in the world. he has a ring, so in my opinion, he has balls, and can do something good in a real big spot.
