Are these online blackjack tournaments rigged or what? I competed in the wimbleton blackjack tournament at betcris and the same person got 1st place Wed-Sat. That's four days in a row! a little too weird don't you think?:icon_conf

How many players in the tournies? That's total bullshit if it was a good sized field.

Sounds sketchy.

well if they were trying to cover it up and it was a scam they would prob use a different name everytime to avoid any problems

Well, it doesn't tell you how many players and it doesn't give you their total chip count until the end of the match. Four days in a row the same guy wins in first place and today is the final match and he is in first place for the 4,500.00 prize. Either he is extremely lucky or it is fixed. I don't know.

You can buy in as many times as you like, so I got to believe that the guy is entering quite a few times to post the scores he's posting. He probably has a set number he's trying to reach and plays until he gets there. I agree with the poster above that if they did want to rig it they would most likely use a little imagination and change the names of the winner each day.

Had some problems with Cris a few months back (I made a deposit but it took a day to credit my account. Small mixup on their end). A manager was nice enough to give me 3 entries to a BJ tourney.

My first entry had me place in the top group and earned me a t-shirt. However, it was my 3rd entry that I recall.

I had won maybe 14 of 20 hands (winning 4 doubles and 2 splits). Was on my way to a great showing.

I kid you not - the dealer ended the round (I believe we played 50 hands per round) by getting 8 of the last 10 hands BJ, and the other 2 the dealer drew to 21 (I pushed on one hand)

8 of 10 hands watching the dealer draw BJ is enough to make anyone frustrated enough break out the Intro to Stats textbook and work out the possibility.
