IT is very late, and I'm sorry I didn't get this up earlier as I intended but I worked long hours the last two days and am happy just to get bets in.
I know I didn't get the best lines I could have, but I was unavailable due to work.

Here they are for the first round:
Melzer -136 (Mahut is HORRIBLE on grass) $408/$300
Novak +211 (Vliegen had never won on grass before this year) $200/$422
Youzhny -470 (Starace winless on grass for life) $470/$100
Srichaphan -418 (Calleri betting 17% on turf) $418/$100
Bracciali -120 (another fade, this time Hrbaty) $360/$300
Benneteau -160 (Phau hasn't broken turf maiden) $640/$400
Lopez +174 (Luby is another bad greens player) $300/$522
Kohlschrieber -243 (Phil has been hot of late) $486/$200
Ginepri +126 (pick'em match at plus odds) $200/$252
Lu -125 (decent surface player vs horrible surface player ($250/$200)

One prop:
Tursunov to win 4th quarter of draw +646 $100/$646
(every seed in that bracket is a clay court specialist who stinks on grass)

Women:
Abramovic +2000 (Mo-lesmo has history of fading and Croat likes green)
$100/$2000
M. Krajicek -237 (Young sister is hottest thing on tour right now) $474/$200
M. Washington -175 (Family pedigree at Wimby is nice) $100/$175
C. Black +911 (Gotta fade one of the potential Russian tank jobs at this steep price) $100/$911
Shvedova +225 (Raymond strictly doubles specialist, might drop to concentrate on that) $200/$445
Harkleroad -139 (Awful Ashley faces Jelena who simply doesn't win on grass) $407/$300
Foretz +366 (strong value in a fairly even statistical matchup) $100/$366
Serra Zanetti +549 (Schnyder strictly a mudder, has a shot) $200/$1098
Oprandi +505 (Another first round Russian mob fix against a hot young star?) $50/$252.50
Tanasugarn -335 (Fading Thai loves London cooking against dirtballer) $670/$200
Zvonareva +719 (Only decent surface for Vera, better price than last week's matchup) $100/$719

That's all for now. Hopefully with my tournament out of the way, I can focus more on the fortnight.

Remember, if you bet on Wimbledon expect funds to be tied up two, three, even four days with the rainy days in London.

I know absolutely nothing about tennis; what's your take on Agassi? Do you think he might dog this one and mentally focus solely on the US Open, knowing that it's going to be his last one and that he does better on hardcourt than on grass?

Nice looking card. I like play against Myskina even though she's red hot. Who do you look to win it all? I am really surprises Maria's the favorite to win it all and of course Venus and Kim's draws are brutal. Even on grass I would bet maybe 5 women against her. Problem is like usual, Wimbledon set her up with a ridiculously easy draw. I will most likely be fading Schiavone and Safina. You play any futures?

As predicted, there is a weather delay and all the matches will be bumped up at least a day.

Rail,
Can you give me your thoughts on Oprandi?

For who asked about Andre. I don't think he has much left in the tank, but he is in the easiest qurater by far. If he shows any kind of form, he could knock off Nadal on the grass.
BTW, the paper here had a nice tribute to Andre yesterday. He is a very nice guy and gives back tons to the community here in Las Vegas. Betting on or against him, I always pull for him.

She gave Kuznetsova all she wanted on clay, she trains with Garbin and Schiavone, 2 heavey juicers which may or may not explain a quick jump in the rankings. Plays big babe tennis and hits too many drop shots, but that maybe what works against a slow Kuznetsova.

Overall not a good start.
Serra Zanetti is serving for the match, and she gets broken and goes into the tank.
Had a Russian diving in the first round, but didn't guess on Kirilenko.
A couple bad breaks that made a less than profitable start. $826 in the hole, but am confident that is just a temporary setback.

Appreciate your posts, regardless of outcome, as you're providing some reasoning for the selections.

I know you were rushed for time - if you get to add even more explanation, so much the better.

I don't see Agassi as a tourist here. He rightly rates his Wimbledon 92 win as the best of his career, and has flown out to the UK to play this event.

He could easily have just said, I'll stay home and shag Steffi then have a swansong at Flushing Meadow & retire.

No-one will ever retire with more class than Sampras, winning the US Open as his last tour match!
