That was a lousy throw by the second baseman but part of the blame has to go to the first baseman in that spot. He has to come off the bag and get that throw. Had he done that, he could have held the runner at third and there would have been bases loaded with two out and they could have gotten out of the inning with the game still tied.
Easy to holler after the fact. Where were the Beaver fans earlier. Congrats OSU. UNC had a catcher in a first and he had trouble all series with his footwork. He could of made that play but UNC played 6 or 7 freshmen most of the year except on the mound and they will be back!! CONGRATS BEAVERS!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you, I think that error is more on the first baseman than the second baseman. But UNC will have their day if they can keep their players out of pro ball...they are a better team than OSU.
Error on 2B all the way, IMO. Foot work or not. 1st baseman was playing deep to prevent seeing eye singles. The guy was running to first base, and the throw was behind him while he was running to the bag. If you want to see that first baseman stop on the dime and go backwards to catch the ball, Superman comes out in theatres in a few weeks.
