This happens to my buddies every year. One in particular is unreal. He is 95% of the time playing poker though, but he goes on 6 month runs that are death defying, playing $12-24 games and $400 buy in no limit games and winning 40 dimes. We make plans to get together for a vacation down in San Diego, but a week or two before he claims he is running bad and is too broke to go. Don't let this happen to you, its pathetic, but it happens to people I know time and again. Guess if you play a style that makes it possible to make such runs makes you vulnerable to horrible stretches of bad luck.
