Brain damaged since birth and he has diabetes. He goes to a lot of the practices and all of the games of OSU. He's sort of the mascot so to speak. All of the player's feel he is an inspiration, he's well liked by the players who always hang around him at practices, etc. Instead of cutting to commercial after the 8th, they showed that piece on him.

though BigM was harsh, I tend to agree. Why do we need to see this more and more? There are plenty of brain damaged kids who don't get to run out onto the field and be on national TV. The basketball story about that autistic kid was very different. He actually contributed bigtime to the team that day. This was just a sad story that didn't need to be told.
