I was in attendance of this blowout and I was shocked at how many 'boos' Weaver got tonight. Angel games usually have a Disneyland vibe to them (unlike Dodger games) but the fans tonight were not supportive of the struggling Weaver. I think a lot of the Dodger fans converted into Angel fans after the 2002 Championship... so there are a lot more brutal fans now-a-days.
I was screaming "you guys sent the wrong Weaver to the minors!" and other drunken predictable sayings...fun times.
look for the 'under' for tomorrow...people will be pounding the 'over', so hopefully the line will go up to 8.5...although it was a 12-3 game, none of the bullpens were abused...just the below average pitchers made appearances. i see a 4-2 game happening tomorrow!!
