It seems I have to fly from Chicago to Las Vegas to get a couple answers because it's against the rules for somebody to answer my questions for me over the phone. A$$holes. I've never been to Vegas. NEVER. My first time will be around the football season.

I want to know a couple things:
What sportsbook in all of Vegas is the best?
What's the maximum amount you can bet on the spread/moneyline in the NFL and it probaly differs from sportsbook to sportsbook, right?
What's the percentage of taxes they takes out as you cashout your winnings? Say you bet $22,000 to win $20,000 = $42,000 payout uncle sam takes out how much of that before you leave

Answers:
1)Hilton, Palms, IP(biased)
2)Depends on book, for NFL 10k no problem
3) None, they will report you betting and cashing over 10k, your responsibility to claim.

Based on total cashout transaction or actual win...Meaning, at those odds, make no bet larger than 5, or just keep the bet under 10?

Thanks guys, so you will have to fill out forms and all that if you cash out more then 10? Do you get some type of discount if you sit at a sportsbook for 8 hours a day? I heard books tend to favor square gamblers more. Can you get in trouble if your just a messenger?

No cell phones or ANY communication device is allowed in LV sportsbooks.

You may want to see if you can get paid in CHIPS at the book and then cash them at the cage to avoid being written up(if this is still applicable).

:103631605 No, you will just have to produce ID. The casino gets to fill out the form.
It is cash in or cash out. As long as you stay under 10k, nothing is turned in. Believe me, we don't want to fill out the form any more than you do, but it is required.

Yes, most books discourage runners.

Comps and discounts are based on money wagered. It fluctuates greatly from casino to casino. Local places are more generous as are the smaller strip properties. Some will give you nothing at all. If you sit around the sports book, we may give you a bar of soap or a razor.:lolBIG:

Livingoffgambling...make your serious wagers somewhere with the best lines.....then go to a sportsbook that allows bettors to get free drinks while the games are on and make a few smaller wagers to make it look like you are playing there....drink it up and watch 1,000 TVs!!!

I can't wait for my first time out there either.
