Best bet Argentina. Best value (for future hedging purposes) is Portugal.

If Ukraine beats the Crybabies Sal will have do away with himself, single shot to the Head listening to Giordano's La Mamma Morta, holding a picture of Totti

You seem to have more hate for Italy then love for your own team
:cry4:

Do you start fights in the stands?

I have a future on Brazil but I think Germany is in top shape: WC home team that's been playing well + lousy refereeing = all the ingredients for another home champion.

I actually don't mind the Portugal bet at all. Beyond the hedging functionality that was mentioned earlier, I think Portugal has a decent team, and if they get by England, I wouldn't be surprised to see them play a fairly rough game against Brazil (assumption) and give them a run for the money.

Great, Portugal Hedgeing( old Spelling) functionality. You need a lesson in what Bookmakers call Tits Up, only a dope would consider Portugal V Brazil. Football's coming Home and the French have that confidence. Seriously though, welcome to the Forum, your opinions are more than needed with Dopes like Me on here. :toast:

I sure hope you're right. Making the championship game would be big for me, winning it would be even better.

Let's just knock off the host team & go from there:103631605

ITALY is hot. Germany's home or not, comes to an end I think. The Italians come out and explode early. The media and all the crap gives them the extra spice to perform well. It will show.

Frings will miss Tuesday's crunch game with Italy

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><!-- E IIMA --><!-- S SF -->Fifa has suspended Germany midfielder Torsten Frings for Tuesday's World Cup semi-final against Italy.
Frings, 29, was involved in the fracas that followed Germany's penalty shoot-out win over Argentina in their World Cup quarter-final on Friday.
The ban is a blow as the Werder Bremen player has been superb for Germany.
Frings has been given a two-match ban, but the second match is suspended meaning he will be available for the World Cup final, if Germany qualify. <!-- E SF -->
Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann said before the verdict that he was confident Frings would be cleared, saying Argentina were to blame for the melee.
"I don't think we were the culprits. He should be in the line-up on Tuesday," Klinsmann said. Fifa had announced on Sunday that it would take no action against the German players.
