Suspend an umpire or, at the least, demote him to the minors for such a call...isn't that what the players face every day if THEY don't perform??
ACCOUNTABILITY for umpires' actions and poor calls will tighten them up... yeah,yeah, I understand these are tough calls.. so bring in instant replay for certain calls...
Umpires are arrogant, and confrontational... we want to watch the players and the drama of a game;not some unathletic,frustrated,overweight fool who never played a day in his life
