I was leaving Vegas yesterday and driving back to AZ when we saw smoke forming up ahead on the 15 somewhere between Trop and Flamingo, I think. I am guessing it was probably about 7PM. Anyway, as we got closer, I saw a truck burning on the side of the road - the cab completely engulfed in flames.
I didn't think much of it, but my wife swears she saw someone inside as we passed. I mean this thing was just buringing like crazy, thick black smoke coming out. Police had not arrived yet, no one was stopping, and we all just drove by as if nothing was happening.
This bothered me quite a bit the whole way home. I was wondering if anyone there had any news, heard about it, saw it, or knows anything about what happened or knows if someone had been killed.
The only thing that eases my mind was that the hood was opened, so I am hoping no one was inside.
