Early games first... Went 1-5 and lose 2207 yesterday, just couldn't stand prosperity...

Now 161-190-6 and down 2095 for season.

Think the Cub price is ridiculous considering Marmol has good stuff if he doesn't walk the world. Then again, those turds have lost nine straight at the 'friendly confines'. Eddings behind the dish, enough for me to think he'll help both these pitchers.

The play: MIL/CUB UNDER 9 -112 - 560 to win 500

The Astros are catching a decent price because of Pettitte's struggles but he was extremely hard on himself in an interview following his last outing, a loss to the White Sox where he said his pitching has been 'unacceptable'. The last time he talked bad about himself was when he was a Yankee three years back and he went on a monster tear following that. Couple his comments with his recent record against Detroit (4-0 with a 1.64 ERA in his last four starts) and you have to expect good things from him today.

Bullshit Dowdy stats cluttering my opinion.
Detroit 26-6-2 UNDER vs. lefties

Home team is 9-0 in Dowdy's last 9 day games.
Under is 3-0 in Dowdy's last 3 interleague games
Under is 3-0 in Dowdy's last 3
Under is 3-0-1 in Dowdy's last 4 games DET home games.
Home team is 20-7 in Dowdy's last 27 games

Pass. ARRRRRGGGGHHHH.

Going with Wire on MIN/LA OVER and the DOdgers. Santana is great, yes, we know. Odalis Perez is sort of a bum, but they pay him pretty good money and I gotta think you see his best cheese today, whatever good that may be. Twinkees firecracker hot as we speak but I made this game 240, come on, the Dodgers aren't exactly the Royals. They do hit lefties well. Dodgers are on a 21-6-4 run on OVERS, and Guccicone last 5 all OVER and last three day games OVER.

The plays: Dodgers plus 270 - 300 to win 810

LA +265/OVER 8 +105 - 300 to win 1944.74

OVER 7.5 -109 - 545 to win 500

Lean to Baltimore in the first game but prolly gonna pass it unless something else compelling comes along.

GL all...

Adding a few for the night session. Washington has been playing shitty again lately but cannot justify Lilly ever laying this much. I made this game a full quarter lower and Hill is capable.

THe play: Washington plus 175 - 400 to win 700

D-Backs really struggling these days... Seattle looks to move over .500 for the first time since April 7. The Mariners are 11-2 in Interleague games. They are averaging 9.2 runs in their last five wins. Felix Hernandez gets the ball for the Mariners tonight. His last start was his first loss since May 26. Arizona has dropped 18 of 21 to fall into last place in the NL West. Edgar Gonzalez has 10 straight losses dating back to 2003. He was recalled from AAA Tucson last week, allowing four runs and nine hits in six innings in a 4-1 loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday. The right-hander went 0-9 with a 9.32 ERA in 10 starts in 2004. As long as he can't figure out how to win and the Snakes continue to struggle I'll fade away.

The play: Seattle -133 - 665 to win 500

A-Train gets momentarily derailed but I'll back Blanton and hop back aboard against Hensley and the Fathers.

The play: Oakland -107 - 535 to win 500

Lean to Texas in the late game but not getting involved at this point; Lowry is one customer I can't figure out. GL all...

Good write-ups. The Mariners have momentum. If Hernandez is on his game, this won't even be close. I will play them SU and -1.5.
