500*s - Mets w/Martinez, Florida w/Olsen, Seattle w/Hernandez I expect the Mets to bounce-back tonight and snap Boston's 10-game winning streak this evening at Fenway.
Pedro Martinez heads back to beantown, and while the numbers on Josh Beckett may be a little better as the 2 pitchers head into this showdown, I would have to believe the "intangible" of Pedro coming back to Boston means a little more in this one.
New York is still 25-14 on the road this season. Couple that with the fact the Red Sox can't keep winning at the clip they are currently on, and the fact Beckett is due for a home loss, and I am on the Mets for tonight's affair.

I know the price on the Marlins is a little lofty tonight, but I am not worried, as this Florida team is poised for the sweep on Tampa. Florida has won all 5 meetings against the Devil Rays at home dating back to last season, and Florida has won the last 6 times starter Scott Olsen has hit the mound.
Tampa counters with Fossum who has an over 7 road ERA this year. I can't see Fossum fooling this young Marlins' attack that is really starting to believe in themselves.
Take the Marlins to break out the brooms and get the 3-game sweep.

Going to stick with another hot team, and play the Mariners over the slumping Diamondbacks.
Arizona is in a freefall, and if they couldn't win with their "ace" Brandon Webb on the mound, they are certainly not going to win with Gonzalez on the hill.
Seattle has won their last 3, and 8 of their last 10. The M's also have Felix Hernandez on the mound. It is hard to know which Hernandez will show up, the one who just allowed 4 runs in 6 innings in a loss against the Dodgers, or the Hernandez that threw a complete game 2 run win at the Angels in his previous road start.
I am banking on the Hernandez that will shut down the Diamondbacks' slumping attack.
