Seattle -1RL -118

Seattle is the best AL team that nobody is talking about. They are hitting the crap out of the ball...especially when thrown by Arizona pitchers. Only reason I am taking the weenie way out with the RL is cause I don't have much info on the Arizona pitcher. Meche has been outstanding for Seattle and hope will be so one more time.

Followers of THE WAY are invited to post their picks here. There are a handfull of teams that are worthy candidates so my play is not the only good one. It is a forum so we can handicapp the game but use of the S word is not allowed. Followers of THE WAY know how the games are selected for consideration...we need not go into that publically.

Check Playersonly69's thread (http://forum.therx.com/showthread.php?t=386987) for some interesting info on this game.

And thanks, Alamo.

Thank you Joepipps. Playersonly69 has this game capped up oneside and down the other. We gotta like our chances with all that going for us.

Just from a baseball fan point of view I like Seattle to make a big run in the second half. Their pitching is coming around...they finnaly figured out Putz is a closer and Guajardo is a scrub. Beltre is settling in as their stud and Ichiro is playing Allstar baseball. I actually like watching their games, they have the look of a determined team.

Don't know what to tell you about units G. In bases I play one unit on one game a day and off the side I put pocket change some games for entertainment purposes only. My goal is to just win more games than I lost by season's end. I KNOW in baseball I can finish with a high percentage if I maintain discipline.

In football it will be different. Season is short and multiple unit plays are a must or else it is difficult to make any real dough.

This being my 1st post I would like thank all the cappers on this forum for making my life much easier. Alamorich I especially thank you. Now that we got all the pleasantries out of the way my two cents could now be processed.

My two cents is the following:

1-Boston(-147): Can the streak continue
Schiling pitching great as of late while Glavine isnt do as well. What scares me Boston doest hit lefties well. Glavine always liable to pitch a gem.

2-Baltimore(-131)-Phills lost 7 straight.
Lopez hot as late. Baltimore hits righties well. Madson blows.
I have this as a play and from looking around so does most of the better cappers.

3-Toronto(-217)-won 2 straight-Nats lost 2 straight.
Halladay is on the mound. Gave up no runs against the Nats last time up. Two things scare me the Nats Patterson hot as of late and the juice is too high for my taste.

4-SF(-162)-Tx lost 4 in a row.
Pitching is obvious edge to SF. Playing at home.
Bonds probably goes. Texas is a team most stay away from and for good reason. They are hit or miss team (lately theyve bee miss). No play yet merits consideration.

5-Seattle(-139) won 4 straight
Meche is hot Gonzalez not. Seattle is hitting while Arizona is not. Like the juice, most cappers including our very own Alamorich. The game is a play

Viable plays for today: Seattle and Baltimore :toast:

Opinions if desired could be shared

wow so many s*** happens ever since I start betting (this week) like cleveland made 2 errors at 9th inning and gives up 2 runs, atlanta scores at the top of 12th inning and arod blasts a walkoff homer at the bottom of 12th, and now mariners give up a run on a balk.
