Jesus, Sportscenter is just a total joke now

Stu Scott, the Steve Phillips MOCK press conferences, the stupid features, and now this....Ultimate NFL Depth Chart. These rankings are TERRIBLE, all these commentators should be fired on the spot. Salisbury talks out of his ass constantly, Schlereth is a pompous braggard who thinks that he is much smarter than anyone else when he has no idea what he's doing......my god this is a nightmare. ESPN is almost to the point of being unwatchable for anything except PTI and sports coverage. If a major competing sports network opened up I am positive they could unseat ESPN in a decade.

Starting at 11:30 pm Monday, Fox Sports will give ESPN competition with its own highlight show. I hope they report the news and not make it.

Screw the ESPY's too.

For me, Sportscenter has been unwatchable for the last 15 years or so. The downward spiral began when those arrogant twits Olberman and Patrick started. Now every idiot hosting the show is basically a clone of them.

Let's cut them a little slack. Let's face it, the NFL is the most watched sport in the USA, and with the dog days of summer upon us, why not talk about the NFL? Sure you may not agree with them, but you sure are talking about those ratings...which is just what they want. Lets them to see if you're paying attention or not by how many emails you're sending, and where you're sending them from. If you have sent them an email before from let's say your house or office, but now you are on vacation, but you disagree with one or more of the selections, and you fire one off from a wireless coffe shop Orlando when you live in NYC, they then know you are probably on vacation with the family since your IP addy has changed.

Even more lame than Sportscenter is the "CHASING AARON" priority score updates on the ESPN2 ticker! "PRIORITY UPDATE - Barry Bonds walked intentionally 0-0". Who cares?!

You are right El Jefe.......nobody cares. Perhaps since everyone went nuts watching McGuire chase the HR Record years ago the media feels they also have to overload us with Bonds lest they be accused of racism. Maybe I'll have mild interest when he gets within 1 of the record, and even then I'll only care only as much as hearing the weather will be partly cloudy tomorrow, but until that time I agree that it is overkill.
