Looking for the best price currently on the favorite Pacquiao.

Also, any thoughts on where this line is moving would be tremendously appreciated.

Thanks,

The fight takes place in the Philippines, so definite advantage to Pacquaio. Trainer says he wins in 6 or less. I'm looking at both the KO/TKO/DQ line as well as the Under 8.5. If I get additional information on this fight, I'll let you know.

Pinny's 700 seems the best number out there.

Don't know much about Larios but I don't like Pacquiao at all. Seems he's had some distractions with his new promotion company causing conflicts of interest and just his overall new fame. He's supposedly not in tip top shape either.

I watched him upset Barrera and I'll tell you it was a fluke. Barrera was off that night and it was only an early barrage which gave Pacquaio the advantage he needed. Barrera was clearly the superior fighter.

I would be VERY leary of laying the big price on PacMan. As noted here, he has had some major contractual problems since the Morales bout which has weighed on him heavily and caused him to miss significant training because, "he forgot to train". He's had to cut about 15-18 pounds in the last 2 1/2 weeks. Not exactly what I'd want to see against Larios who has no problems making the 130.

I'm honestly not sure what happened to Larios in his last out in 2005. It surely surprised me and I'm sure others around.

I will be taking the price on Larios as it drifts up even further as everyone pounds the name fighter. I also will be taking the over 8.5 rounds as I think that at 130, the power of each, especially PacMan will be diminished. The question for me is whether the Larios KO by Israel Vasquez will be a problem. At the big + money, it's a risk I am willing to take.

A fluke? Pacquiao beat his ass 10 out of 11 rounds. That is not a fluke. A fluke is a lucky punch or some shit. Pacquiao beat Barrera down so badly that he hasn't wanted a rematch. Funny how a guy who losses 10 out 11 rounds, gets dropped multiple times and tries to quit can be "clearly" the superior fighter.

Pac bet up to -742 at Pinnacle for the time being. Earlier it was mid to high 6's.

I might buy the fight. If so, I will do a running commentary like I did for Tarver-Hopkins. Otherwise try ESPN or maxboxing or one of the other big boxing sites.

Totally agree. Barrera got his ass properly handed to him.

Bad training or not, Pacquiao's the king at 130. I believe he has too much natural speed & power to get beat by Larios. Not to mention that Freddy Roach has transformed him into a complete fighter instead of the one-armed slugger he was until 2003.

I'd pick Pacquiao even if he fought with the flu.

I couldn't tell if it was a 25 or 26 he was wearing. I should have looked closer at the helmet. That style Jofa was a bit older than the 390 that came into the league around 1993 or so. The Tackla pants and bad Rawlings gloves should have been a giveaway too.
